Connecting your WhatsApp Business number
Link a real WhatsApp Business number through Meta and keep it healthy.
WhatsApp connects through Meta's own WhatsApp Business Platform (WABA). From Channels, follow the connect flow to link your number — you can connect more than one number per business and choose which one sends a given campaign or automated reply.
Once connected, the dashboard tracks your number's health for you: token expiry, message delivery, and any issue Meta reports. If a number ever needs replacing, you can promote a secondary number to primary without losing your conversation history.
WhatsApp only allows free-form replies within a 24-hour window after a customer messages you. Outside that window, only a Meta-approved template message can reach them — the Template Builder lets you write and submit one for approval.
